Dzork is a Dutch post-punk band formed in Utrecht, in 2007.They have traveled several times across Europe. To play their music around the globe, jammin in sunny public parks and rocking on sweaty stages. National musicblog 3Voor12/Utrecht called Dzork ‘the Pulp Fiction way of life’! With their raw power they try to make the most danceable music there is. ‘Funny and crazy’ is how the people at fucktelevision.org called them. Not bound to a single musical style, but always true to the music. With their debut EP released they are ready to show everybody what real Dzork-music is!

The band’s varied musical style has fused traditional rock and punk with various elements of new wave, funk, indie, psychedelica and a crazy-ass organ. Dzork comprises Bas Keuning (lead vocals, organ and synths), Mark Mulder (bass guitar), Lowi Willems (guitar), and Guido Puijk (drums and percussion).

Because of a real and funloving DIY-mentality Dzork has constantly found new ways to share their music. From Cologne to Munich, Prague, Budapest, and up north to Copenhagen, Oslo, and even Trondheim. At gigs it is a habit of Dzork to jam on stage, improvising until out of nothing a song comes up. And to rock out on stage as hard as humanly possible!

- The low-budget sci-fi culthit ‘Kapitein Protagonist’

Gigs are always great fun, and a good way for everyone to dance, kiss, trip, sweat, space, love, and all the things you could possibly want to do when you’re listening to nice music.
